Business Analyst, Financial Systems Development (Oracle)

As Business Analyst, Financial Systems Development you will implement system development functionality into Company's Oracle Enterprise system, manage various components of system upgrades, and provide ongoing system expertise in support of our end user groups.
Specific Accountabilities:
Leading functional development through the implementation lifecycle
Preparing various documentation associated with business requirements, functional design, testing, production implementation, and system setups
Assisting in development, monitoring, and reporting on project plans and schedules
Managing specific modules or components of Oracle Enterprise system upgrades
Working on escalated HEAT tickets and coordinating system troubleshooting with IT Application Support
Overseeing FDS Data Analysts in the building/executing of system test scripts and associated documentation
Providing post-implementation support and transitioning knowledge to IT support team
Training/mentoring staff on Oracle Enterprise system and related problem solving skills
Working with end-user groups to identify/advance business improvement opportunities
Providing support for any other non-Oracle business systems
Qualifications:
Completion of or enrolment in a professional accounting program (CA, CMA, CGA), or completion of a post-secondary business program, or several years experience working with financial systems
Strong problem solving skills with a customer service focus
Excellent interpersonal skills; this position requires a high degree of interaction with varied individuals from different functional groups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; this position requires a high degree of involvement in meetings and regular communication to various parties
Strong organizational skills
Details-oriented with a diligence for accuracy, documentation, and structure
Oracle (or other Enterprise system) experience would be an asset
