Our client's Geotechnical Engineering group provides comprehensive geotechnical services to their clients, ranging from field explorations and laboratory testing to the design and construction management of complex geotechnical structures. Responsibilities:
Our client's Edmonton office has an immediate opening for a Sr. Geotechnical Engineering Techologist who is seeking an organization with significant growth opportunities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working on and Managing a variety of small to large projects spanning from transportation, residential, commercial and industrial developments as well as linear corridors and geohazard work.
Overseeing field construction support services from a senior technical standpoint which includes consstruction review and materials testing.
Performing construction review/QA/QC Client management.
Preparation and review ofmaterials testing reports.
Mentoring, coaching and training of less experienced professionals as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a post secondary degree in civil engineering technology.
CET designation would certainly be an asset.
Minimum of 12 years experience in geotechnical consulting primarily in Alberta or Western Canada.
Strong client management experience.
A self starter who is innovative and enjoy working in a team environment.
Direct project experience on Alberta Transportation projects would be considered an asset.
