About the Job
Our client is looking for smart and driven engineers who are detailed oriented and love building lasting solutions for customers. Integration Engineers create customized systems for customer deployments using their Insight Engine product. Integration Engineers interface closely with our client's utility customers' technical points of contact and work very closely with our software R&D team. Your insights and interaction with our client's customers will exert great influence on the functionality and design of the product. Development is primarily done in our office, with limited travel to client sites. Integration Engineers require a diverse technical skillset. Our client is looking for well-rounded engineers with extensive experience with SQL, stored procedures, ETL, designing and operating with large databases, and working on Linux. It is a plus to have experience with a high-level programming language, (Java).
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between client IT teams and our software development team to customize the applications for customers.
- Analyze and transform the data from our utility company partners to ensure the highest quality imports into the reporting system. - Integrate utility data with other data from various 3rd party sources like demographic data providers and parcel data. - Own all technical aspects necessary for successful client customization and delivery to market.

- You have a technical background and a BS or MS in a computer-related or hard science field.
- You have minimum 2 years of related experience.
- You are a master of SQL/MySQL and databases (with knowledge of ETL concepts if not working experience)
- Linux and shell scripts are your friends.
- You demonstrate some programming knowledge (Java is a plus). - You are detail-oriented, methodical, and a perfectionist. - You love to surf through large amounts of data to find and explain anomalies.
- You function well in a fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for quality is set high.
